SDG Localisation - SDGs Working Locally

The second Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) National Stakeholder Forum of 2025 will take place on Tuesday, 2 December in the Aula Maxima, University College Cork (UCC) on the theme SDG Localisation – SDGs Working Locally. The Forum will consist of presentations, panel discussions and each delegate will have a choice of one of four workshops.

Time: 09:30 – 16:30 (registration & networking from 08:30)

Cost: This is a free event

Format: Online or in person

Tickets will be released across two days:

First release on Thursday 6th November at 7pm.

Second release on Friday 7th November at 10am.

There are limited spaces available for a 20 minute sound bath/sound meditation at lunchtime. Lunch will be available to the participants following the session. As places are limited please ensure you can attend before booking a place.

Workshops need to be chosen in advance, these are on a first come first served basis.

Workshop 2: Synergies for Success - Identifying potential for community collaboration

Collaborating on current and upcoming projects in Cork.

Workshop 3: Localising the SDGs - Charting Ireland’s path to Voluntary Local Reviews

What are the benefits of conducting a Voluntary Local Review.

Workshop 4: Healthy Cities – Urban living in an SDG informed world

Exploring the benefits and challenges of city gardens and food production in urban areas.
