Beginning Aurelia Workshop

Building applications can be difficult, especially when we're talking about the web. That's why we lean on our tools and frameworks to help us along the way so we can create solutions that our users will love. They need to stay out of our way so we can focus on engaging and useful business features.

In this Pre- South Florida Code Camp Workshop, we will get you up to speed with the Aurelia JavaScript framework. Based on ECMAScript 2016, Aurelia leverages features such as modules, classes, decorators and more to provide you with tremendous flexibility and speed.

Through our samples and hands-on labs, you will see first hand how productive you can be in a relatively short period of time. Some of the topics that will be covered include:

  • Using the Aurelia CLI
  • Bootstrapping an Aurelia Application
  • Creating Components
  • Using Templates
  • Understanding Dependency Injection
  • Leveraging Data Binding
  • Creating Custom Elements
  • Router Configuration and Usage

By the end of this workshop, you will have the necessary skills needed to start building applications with Aurelia. We hope you will love it as much as we do.
