AI Saturdays Barcelona - Spring 2022
Learn about Artificial Intelligence in a collaborative way during 12 Saturdays, from 10:00h to 14:00h, ending with a "Demo Day" to show your AI project with social impact. Choose between the two tracks of Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL).

Saturdays.AI is a non-profit organisation with a mission to make Artificial Intelligence (AI) accessible to anyone (#ai4all) while building social impact projects (#ai4good).

Where: Ocado Technology Office - Carrer de Badajoz 112, 08018 Barcelona
What to bring: Laptop + charger
What we provide: Working places with plugs, breakfast, coffee/tea and snacks
Minimum Requirements: Basic Python Knowledge. Don't worry if you don't have it yet, you can do this free online python course that teaches you all the basics you need to know.
Financial Aid: We offer need-based financial aid to any potential student by covering 100% of the course fee. Contact us at barcelona@saturdays.ai and tell us about your case.
Language: The course material and most of the lectures will be held in English. Most of our mentors are fluent in Spanish though and can adapt to you.

About this event
Saturdays AI is a non-profit association, a community and global movement, committed to promoting education in Artificial Intelligence through quality content and with the rigor of the best universities. A way to make this technology accessible to everyone through the development of projects with social impact. Currently Saturdays AI is already active in 27 cities around the world.
AI Saturdays Barcelona has the mission to promote the knowledge of this technology and train professionals about #AI through a practical training methodology, beyond conventional education by promoting study groups on:
- Machine Learning (ML)
- Deep Learning (DL)

What do you need to know before you start?
- In the first half of the course, we follow a "code2learn" approach, where we explain the theory of the different algorithms, accompanied by exercises to learn the basics of Machine Learning.
- In the second half of the course, until the demonstration day, we move on to the "build2learn" phase, where our #AIFellows work to build a project with real impact by helping each other in a collaborative way.
- The last week of the course is dedicated to the project presentations.
The entrance fee includes breakfast during the sessions, merchandising and educational resources. Its cost is entirely destined to cover the expenses of the program.
Therefore, a commitment to attendance and continuous self-learning is a prerequisite for participants to create an involved community and make this a unique experience.
Cancellation Policy: In case you want to cancel, please notify the organizers by 09/03/2022 in order to process the cancellation and allocate tickets to other participants. Otherwise the ticket will be cancelled and a 50€ fee will be deduced from the ticket price.
