Our first virtual conference in April was planned as a one-off pivot during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of companies were eager to grasp the basics of managing remote employees, having suddenly gone to #wfh. The virtual conference was a huge success with 4,000 registrations, and 30 sponsors.
We discovered tremendous opportunities for our community online, thus Running Remote Online virtual conference series was born. Running Remote are the organisers of the annual Premier Event for Remote-First Founders. We have been running live conferences for 500 attendees for three years in a row. The conference presents successful case studies from top remote work experts, who have scaled businesses with out an office, or with a hybrid model (part co-located). During the tough time of CO-VID19, sadly we had no choice but to postpone our conference until September, originally set for April 20th in Austin, TX. This gave us the opportunity to organise Running Remote Online, a virtual conference aimed at helping your organisation with remote work management practices.
