Ruby Retreat 2026

You're invited to Ruby Retreat 2026, July 3-6 at Land's Edge in Gooree Chowder Bay, right on Sydney Harbour. Join us for a long weekend of hacking, learning, and socialising with fellow Rubyists.

Tucked inside Sydney Harbour National Park, the venue sits right on the water. Step away from the keyboard to bushwalk the headland trails, swim, snorkel, or kayak straight from the beach.

Ruby Retreat is a weekend for people into web development to gather and be awesome together; socialising, hacking, learning, teaching, gaming, and more. The focus is Ruby, but anyone interested in programming or web tech is welcome.

The accomodation is shared dorm rooms and you will need to bring your own bedding. There is unforunately no camping available at this venue.
