Royal Hackaway is Royal Holloway's annual hackathon. Open to students 18+ from the UK and around the world, in this two-day hackathon you'll work as a group to build a project. You'll pick up new skills, try out new tech, and meet new people. This is our third time running this event, and we're excited to create a more inclusive and rewarding event for all!

Proof of student status is required. One per ticket.
Tickets will be issued in batches


  • Number of available tickets will be raised incrementally. Please only register a ticket when you are sure you can come. Valid proof of student status (e.g. a student ID or recent transcript) is required for each ticket. Non-compliant tickets will be periodically voided. You are _heavily encouraged_ to stay for the duration of the event for health & safety reasons. No going home for the night without a good reason.
  • A mentor that helps our hackers with any technical problems they may have.
  • Tier-two organisational support, no technical experience required. Moving tables, setting out food, scanning tickets, etc.
