Pastors for the Common Good

As pastors, we long to see the people in our pews lead coherent lives as they move seamlessly from church on Sunday into the world of work on Monday. Yet, we often struggle to know how to equip them to make this connection.

Co-hosted by Regent Exchange and Made to Flourish, Pastors for the Common Good is a pre-conference forum for pastors and church leaders who want to explore the integration of vocation and work into their congregational life.

Tom Nelson, president of Made to Flourish will share his story as a pastor who struggled to connect faith with the everyday lives of his congregation. Tom will be joined by Isaac Wardell, director of the Porters’s Gate Worship Project, in a panel discussion about thoughtful worship practices that support and honour an integrated theology of vocation and work.

Event Details: Friday June 14, 2019, from 9:15am-11:30am in Room 100. Register online for $20 before Friday June 7, 2019.

Coffee and tea will be available when registration begins at 8:45am, and snacks will also be provided during a morning break.
