Redecentralize: 2019 unconference
Interested in a fairer, freer web and net? Working on decentralisation? Care about privacy, automomy and our future digital infrastructure? Then join us to learn, compare experiences, bounce ideas, share challenges and lessons learnt, hatch collaborations, plan campaigns and start projects.
We had an amazing time at our first sold-out unconference and are finally hosting a similar one-day event (on the day before MozFest, for any decentralisers coming to town).
We'll have open sessions, lightning talks and workshops. In unconference style, you can pitch your session on the day itself, or feel free to already get in touch with an idea.
We gather from 10am to 6pm, and go for drinks or MozFest pre-partying afterwards. :)
Some topics already in motion:
- UX patterns: exchanging good practices for smooth user experiences in decentralised software
- Decent lobbying: shall we campaign together in Brussels/Westminster/etc?
- Mapping the space: creating an awesome-list to oversee themes and projects
- Interoperability and open standards: from planning to action
- The what, why, and how of decentralised identity
- Surviving in a world of platforms: economic models that don’t depend on scale
Sponsors: want to help get us tastier food, drinks & comfy hangout spaces? Message hello@redecentralize.org to hear about sponsorship options! We'll add your logo to our conference page and throw in a ticket or two.
