Reactathon is a conference for web developers, managers, and directors who are interested in learning and connecting with other like-minded individuals: Engineers who use and love React and the extended ecosystem. The main content features hyper-relevant talks that are professionally-curated into a single track to maximize value. Conversations & connections are facilitated to ensure your time is well-spent and that you are comfortable no matter your background or personality type. You are sure to walk away better informed, better connected, and truly inspired!
Our venue is located in the beautiful Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, and our hotel is a serene 9-minute walk from the venue in the heart of Japantown. These neighborhoods, and the venues we've chosen, are simply breathtaking, and are situated by so many exciting and interesting locations within a 10-minute walk:
- Japantown - karaoke, ramen, sushi, zen gardens and bonzai tree shops, & more
- Fillmore district - restaurants, cafes, bars, historic live music venues, bookstores, & more
- Pacific Heights - incredible architecture and views, two beautiful city parks with incredible vistas (Lafayette Park & Alta Plaza Park), & more.
These neighborhoods live in stark contrast to downtown: they are clean, safe, and just wonderful locations for a stroll.
Schedule of Events
Unconference & Topic Walks
Tuesday, May 2, morning
We're expanding the popular Topic Tables segment to bring you Topic Walks. Given the beautiful surroundings of Japantown & Pacific Heights, where our hotel and venue are located, respectfully, we intend to take full advantage of this by coordinating facilitated conversation by topics with the authors, maintainers, and domain experts of the technologies you use day-to-day, and other relevant technologies you may be interested in or were unaware of but could work for your use case.
Explore the sights in Japantown, talk a walk to see the incredible architecture in Pacific Heights, relax in the Japanese Zen Garden at the conference hotel, enjoy the splendid greenery & city vistas from Lafayette Park or Alta Plaza Park, or pop in to one of the nearby cafes or restaurants, all while getting a personalized masterclass with the creators and maintainers of the technologies you use or want to learn more about.
