The Rapha Women’s 100 is a display of collective spirit amongst women cyclists around the world. Since its inception, in 2013, the Women’s 100 has inspired women around the world, to come together to ride 100km all on the same day. Read on to RSVP for a ride.
This ride will accommodate people of all experience levels and speed. It is an ideal ride for a social spin with friends with its combination of wide ‘B’ roads and quiet back lanes. The route takes you out South East from Manchester towards Carrington where the terrain then undulates through Lymm and the Cheshire Lanes. At around mid-point on this route comes the site of the historic Anderton Boat lift along the banks of the River Weaver and Trent and Mersey Canal. The Bike Friendly café and visitors centre is an ideal place for a quick coffee and to top up your bidons before heading back to the Cycle Club via the areas many pretty Villages. Riders will meet for coffee at the Manchester clubhouse at 8:45am before rolling out at 9:00am. You can find the route here.
