Adventures on a Road Once Travelled

Over a month in 2018, four of the most engaging characters in cycling rode the length of the US along the world-renowned Route 66.

Shooting from the hip and documenting every moment of their adventure, Thereabouts have come together with Rapha Media to create the first of three feature films Outskirts: Route 66. The film chronicles their epic exploration of the US at one of the most divided points in its history. Featuring interviews with the characters and caricatures they met along the way, it is a no holds barred view of the once-great American highway and its incredible transformation when seen from the saddle of a bike.
