Rapha Rideleader Ride - Brabant Epic

This ride is hosted and led by Rapha Rideleader Bram de Vrind (De Fietsjournalist).

Prepare for an epic day with stunning backroads through lush forests, meadows, heather and old estates with the sound of crunching gravel on Brabant's finest strade bianche!

Time to take your road bike (or gravel bike) to the strade bianche. The Rapha Ride Brabant Epic grants you 28 strade bianche counting up to 40 kilometers of gravel on a 123 km course. Yep, that's more gravel then Strade Bianche in Tuscany ;).

This ride is a great opportunity for riders outside of Brabant to discover the beautiful Meierij or Groene Woud area, which is granted the status of National Landscape because of it's outstanding beauty. And if you are from the area, we guarantee that you will discover you homeground in a total different way!

This route is just like the Strade Bianche race designed for and reconnoitred on a racebike. That means only the easiest ridable gravel sectors in the area are selected. Indeed it's also suitable for gravel bikes. However, it's up to you to choose the bike you are comfortable with.

We ride in three groups with different speeds (24 - 27 - 30 avg) so this ride is suitable for multiple levels. Note that fun comes over fast in this route. The route is not particularly suitable for fast riding. Halfway there will be a coffee stop.

The fanatics can show their gravel skills on a selection of sectors that are classified for the Grote Prijs Wout Van Aert. The fastest rider (male/female) on the sectors will be awarded with a price. There is also a price for a rider that stood out in a special way.
