Let's go to the Beach - Masterclass Beachracing
Inspired by EF rider Sebastian Langeveld - who has won beach race Egmond-Pier-Egmond for the third time in his career this January - we take you to the beach on February 23.
Ex-pro rider and experienced beach racer Ike Groen will teach you the ins and outs of racing on the beach. Beach racing requires more than only speed and power as the sands are always shifting. You will learn how to dig your bike through the loose sand, how to make sure your tires are always on the fastest surface and how to tackle technical sections.
Important: You need a beach bike or mountainbike (preferably with slick tyres). Limited places available (RCC priority). Accessible for all levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced.
Details When: February 23 - Meet up at 10.00AM at Hotel Sonnevanck, Rijckert Aertszweg 2, 1949 BD Wijk aan Zee - Roll out to the beach at 10.30AM. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
