A DAY IN HELL: COPENHAGEN

A Day in Hell is a celebration of the Queen of the Classics; sheet rain, hollowed faces and emptied legs, mile upon mile of bone-rattling, carbon-shattering roads. From locations around the world, we ride routes inspired by the cobbles and battle-scarred landscapes of Northern France. Hammering around the most challenging of our local roads, we emulate our idols before watching them on the big screen. There’s no better way to celebrate A Day in Hell.

It’s the highlight of the season for many, an exercise in lunacy for some; the Queen of the Classics is a race like no other. In tribute to the great race, every April we celebrate A Day in Hell, riding routes inspired by the cobbles and battle-scarred landscapes of Northern France.

In our very own Danish equivalent we will utilize secteurs of cobbles, pave, grus, farmtracks, and rough roads all manageable on a road bike, for 150km of fire & cobblestones.

Whilst Bernaud Hinault, may have dismissed it as “B******t” for us it is the greatest of the classics and a day to celebrate. We will welcome muddied and tired faces back at the clubhouse with Beer, Waffles & Frites to watch the conclusion of the Men’s race in the storied Roubaix Velodrome.

The cost per participant will be 170 DKK, which will include a full GPX route and led rides, signposted secteurs, a commemorative A Day In Hell Cap, Food & a Beer.
