The Gorge-ous One

Back in February we did our fist social ride from the Rapha Archive Store and went out to Cheddar Gorge. Whilst out last week, retracing the route in the sunshine we thought it would be great to include Cheddar in this months social ride... but with an extra twist..

This months ride will see us head out towards Wookey where we will climb Ebbor Gorge. We will then cruise along the ridge before enjoying the Cheddar Gorge decent followed by 20km of flat fast riding on the "gorgeous" levels. At approximately 55km we will find ourselves back in the village of Cheddar where we will refuel before tackling the second gorge climb of the day.

With just over 1000 meters of climbing this route is spectacular, challenging and manageable.

We will be limiting this ride and opening TiTo for tickets 2 weeks before the ride on the 10th June. Please show your interest on here before hand.

Distance: Planned route of approximately 80km with 1050m of climbing Speed: Approx 22.5km/h Route: All routes use quiet A and B roads, however there may be occasions where the group rides on busier roads Who: This ride is open to anybody. Previous experience and some knowledge of riding etiquette would be advantageous. All riders must wear a helmet Timings: Coffee will be available from the Harlequin Cafe, Kilver Court from 9am
