Bikepacking Talk

"The joy of bikepacking, I've always found, is not only the feeling of going 'off-grid' and being self reliant but how your tyres can be the first to touch that trail in weeks, months - years even"

Bikepacking adventures are self-supported, two-wheeled, overnight forays, off the tarmac roads and into the countryside. Whether that's a quick weekend trip or a month-long expedition across borders. With its roots in early cycle-touring, bikepacking has experienced a boom in recent years with specialised bikes, equipment and events coming to the fore.

Laurence McJannet is the author of Bikepacking and will be holding a talk at Business as Usual on June 6th. He has contributed to publications such as MBUK, ProCycling and Cycling Plus and helped make maps for Sustrans, too. Laurence has years of bikepacking knowledge that he is keen to share - from where to ride to what to pack. So if you're looking to plan your next adventure join us on June 6th.

Alongside the talk there will be an opportunity to purchase Laurence's book and we'll also have a selection of Rapha's latest bike luggage too.

The talk will begin at 6:30pm, finishing around 8pm. Feel free to arrive earlier and grab a coffee from Camber first. There is secure storage for your bike inside if you'd like to ride over.

The evening will cost £5, payable in advance via PayPal. The deadline to sign-up is Wednesday at 1pm - You must signup here and then follow this link to secure your space; PayPal
