Unfortunately, we had to cancel PyCon 2020 due to the COVID-19 (Corona) virus. In this time of uncertainty, we did not want to start making large commitments that we didn’t know if we could keep.

We want to thank our planned sponsors, who had already committed to sponsoring the conference. PyCon could not happen without them, and they are listed on the bottom of the email.

Thank you to all the talk submitters. We appreciate all the effort you put in to get your abstracts written and planned out. While it is generally less effort than preparing the entire talk, there is still a significant amount of time and thought that must go into the initial submission. We also appreciate your willingness to share from your knowledge and put yourself out there.
