Venue: Heartbeat Education Centre, F- Level, North Wing, Southampton General Hospital, Tremona Road, SO16 6YD. The education centre is only accessible via the lifts and stairs in North Wing. Follow the signs for Acute Medical Unit on C-Level, then upstairs to the Heartbeat Education Centre. There is also an entrance via North Wing next to the Emergency Department.

Public Transport details: Bluestar 17, 19 and 19A runs every 10 minutes from Southampton Central Station to Southampton General Hospital and takes approximately 15-20 minutes. The slightly quicker route is the 19A. If arriving by train, please exit the station from Platform 1 side. The stop for UHS is outside Princess Anne Hospital on Coxford Road. Use the traffic light crossing and follow the crowd to the main entrance of the General Hospital.

Catering: Welcome pastries and hot drinks will be served on registration from 09:00. A cold lunch will be provided. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day. Please inform the POEMS team of any dietary requirements.

Parking: - Park and Ride: Parking will be available free of charge at the Park and Ride facility at Adanac Park. It needs to be applied for in advance (before 13th Feb) - Parking onsite: is available but it is expensive and limited. This will cost as per tariff and will need to be paid at the machines on exiting the carpark.

Certificate: The attendees will receive a certificate of attendance accredited with 6CPD points by Royal College of Anaesthetists. Certificates will be sent to you via email after course completion so please ensure we have the correct contact details.
