Weekend Away 2020
Following on from the amazing time we had last year in Somerset we are holding another church weekend in May 2020! The theme is ‘Connection’, and the aim is to go deeper with God and each other, as well as having a cracking time away full of fun, smiles and adventure!
When? Arrival from 4pm on Friday 29th (evening meal served around 6pm). Departure 3pm on Sunday 31st May 2020
Who for? All ages welcome
Where? Heatree Activity Centre, Manaton, Devon, TQ13 9XE. We have exclusive use of all the entire venue! https://www.heatree.org/
Food? The weekend is fully catered by the centre and the food is known to be good quality. All we have to do is a bit of washing up!

Accommodation:
The accommodation is in dorm-style bunk bedded rooms, the all with en-suite facilities. All you need is duvet cover, pillow case and towels.
There is also a lower cost camping option (using your own camping equipment).
The centre can provide travel cots and stair gates for infants.
There are accessible facilities available for disabled guests, including wet rooms in some of the rooms. Please let us know if you have any mobility requirements.
What to expect
There will be a lot of free time and both Saturday and Sunday mornings will be given to worship, teaching and ministry.
The children will have their own programme in the mornings comprising of instructor-led outdoor adventure activities (Saturday only). We will also have a few of these available for all the family in the afternoons.
The activities we can expect kayaking, climbing tower, high ropes, adventure course and archery as well as notorious team sports.
The afternoons/evenings will be full of fun activities in the grounds, including time to chill and chat, games, walks in the country side, a camp fire, a BBQ on the Sat night and a quiz amongst other things.
