Beginners Photography

My main class, run since 2012, aimed at people who have bought a DSLR or similar camera with lots of functions and have no idea how to use it. No prior knowledge is assumed and there are no stupid questions!

Max class size: 8 people.
Location: Loaf Cookery School, Stirchley.
Time : 11am-4pm.

Composition Workshop

New for 2020, a six hour workshop in Birmingham city centre combining theory and practical to turn your snapshots into potential masterpieces. Designed for DSLR or similar cameras but open to all cameras including smartphones.

Max class size: 8 people.
Location: BOM, City Centre.
Time : 10am-4pm.

Mastering Manual

New for 2020, a two hour outdoor walking workshop based on the City at Night photo walk. Photography in the evening forces you to use the Manual setting, working with available light, tripods and the capabilities of your camera to produce photos from the sublime to the other worldly.

Max class size: 4 people.
Location: Starting outside St Paul's Church, Jewellery Quarter.
Time : 7-9pm.
