Additional Information

This walk last for at least 2 hours and takes in monolithic railway architecture, graffitied buildings, light industry, canals, artist studios, victorian urinals, repurposed factories and the mysterious terminating viaduct.

Digbeth is an inner-city district with a history of resisting regeneration. Turn the corner from the shiny Bullring and you'll find yourself in what first appears to be an urban wasteland but which is surprisingly alive and vibrant. You guide, artist and photographer Pete Ashton, has been exploring Digbeth for over a decade and will regale you with the myths, legends, facts and lies about this weird little area while you photograph its glories.
