How to measure impact in innovation: Examples from social innovation initiatives

The Public Service Innovation Network series returns from its summer break to host a webinar on local innovation and impact measurement.

Are you ready to reimagine your future? Fiona Descoteaux and Tom Doyle from Innovate Communities are here to tell you just how to do it! The organisation supports communities in implementing their ideas for change and improving the social infrastructure, enhancing economic opportunities and social wellbeing in their area. Fiona, co-founder and CEO, launched Innovate Communities under the name of Innovate Ballymun in 2015. The ambition was to put citizens at the centre of improving intricate local community systems by working together with others in their community to solve their complex challenges. Tom, Social Innovation Manager, assists communities to harness the collective wisdom and enterprise to create the conditions for such solutions to come into being. Both will present on a case study which best exemplifies their work.

Do you measure the impact of your innovations? Mario Vottero from Rethink Ireland, will be on hand to discuss how to monitor and evaluate development projects. Rethink Ireland supports big thinkers with the resources to share and nurture their ideas so that what proves to be effective in their local community has the opportunity to impact our whole country. Mario, Impact Director, facilitates meaningful collaborations and develops trustful relationships between stakeholders to achieve common objectives and impact.
