Fostering a culture of innovation: How public bodies are engaging with employees

For the May Innovation Network Event, we will be learning how public bodies are embedding innovation into their own working cultures. We will be joined by two representatives to learn more.

Bridgett Estridge joins the panel from the Department of Social Protection. Working as part of the Engagement and Innovation Team, Bridgett works to encourage, foster and support as many staff as possible to get involved in initiatives and projects designed to bring about improvements and innovations in the way our business is completed, and to improve the experiences for staff at work.

Catherine Kelly will present on behalf of Cork City Council. The team has taken the initiative to establish their own internal innovation network to provide a space for staff to share ideas and experiences. This is one not to miss for anyone with an interest in furthering a culture of innovation within their own organisation.
