Open Data Ireland was set up with the purpose of helping citizens access high value, meaningful machine readable datasets generated by the Irish Government. This community meetup will bring together people who are passionate about sharing, learning, using and progressing Open Data in Ireland.

General theme for ODI Meetup #8 is 'Open Government Partnership'
This meetup will be facilitated by Denis Parfenov, Tom Stewart and Nuala Haughey
We'll be hosting a brief presentation from Abhinav Bahl of Global Integrity.
The rest of the evening will be dedicated to building topic- specific, multi-stakeholder/multi-disciplinary working groups with a view to taking an active part in co-drafting/crowdsourcing Ireland’s first national Action Plan around OGP principles.
Ireland's OGP Action Plan is due to be submitted at the OGP Annual Conference in London on October 31st, 2013
