Additional Information

As discussed at ODI #3 and on ODI Google group, our plan this time is to focus on 'Open data in healthcare' and on examining results from the Dublin Hackathon 2013, as well as hosting three brief presentations from industry experts to help inspire the Open Data community in Ireland.

Guest Speakers include:

  • Róisín Shortall T.D.
  • Dr. Gerard Boyle (St. James's Hospital) - 'Local Asset Mapping Project'
  • Representative from NHS (TBC)

Sara Burke, health policy analyst, will be attending this event and contributing to Q & A session.

There will be sufficient amount of time dedicated to work on the projects of participants choice.

We would like to thank the guys in Engine Yard for hosting the event and for their on-going community support.

Also a big thanks to all of the volunteers who helped organise the event: Denis Parfenov, Eamon Leonard, Dominic Byrne and Jason Roe. Special thanks to Dearbla Keating
