NSO Concert: Elgar, Grieg, Rossi, Brahms

Brahm's fourth and final symphony is widely recognised as one of the best and most important symphonies of all time, and we are pleased to be able to close this concert with such a masterpiece. On this same programme we have a staple of the repertoire for piano and orchestra, Grieg's sweepingly Romantic Piano Concerto, and two further pieces with bags of character - Elgar's Froissart Overture and Laura Rossi's contemporary Jailhouse Graffiti.
