Lean Startup is a methodology for developing businesses through a combination of business-hypothesis-driven experimentation, iterative product releases, and validated learning.
Besides bringing us jargon like pivoting and minimum viable product, perhaps its biggest contribution was marrying different development mindsets into one (product, business, customer), ultimately striving to create businesses based on real (versus perceived) customer demand.
We’ve invited some of the most respected Lean Startup practitioners to discuss how their practice evolved over time:
Tristan Kromer is an innovation coach and founder of Kromatic, who works with innovation teams and leaders to create amazing products and build startup ecosystems.
Esther Gons is the co-founder of GroundControl a moonshot management platform, grown out of the startup experience combined with years of corporate experience leading NEXT Amsterdam, an innovation strategy boutique consultancy firm. She is the co-author of the Corporate Startup.
Susana Jurado Apruzzese is head of Open Innovation with Academia at Telefónica. Susana has managed and evolved the intrapreneurship program Lean Elephants, and has recently published a book (in Spanish) titled “Lean Startup: a practical application guide for entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and trainers.”
David Rasson is a Centre of Expertise Innovation Lead ING Belgium & The Netherlands. David is a seasoned banker who is part of ING's furniture for more than two decades and got lost in innovation over three years ago. His focus is on working together with startups to create local impact with global scaling potential.
Round-table will be moderated by Bruno Pešec, co-founder of the Norwegian Lean Startup Circle, and a rare innovator who can claim that he's worked on a regulation-defying freight train and an award-winning board game.
The event is organised by Norwegian Lean Startup Circle and will take place online. The event will be held in English. Find all details below.
