High Tea With The King

You are invited to a Northridge women's event:

High Tea with the King

Saturday 16th June 2018 | 2PM-4PM | $38 Per Person | Catering by High Tea Delights

High Tea with The King is our annual opportunity to stop and enjoy a cuppa, all while hearing from insightful speakers and raising money for the Hornsby KuRingGai Women's Shelter.  We call this event High Tea with the King ...because we believe that all women are loved by God the Heavenly King and we wish to inspire that level of care, respect and dignity in the heart of all women. We'll be gathering together as women, to celebrate women and support women.

Come and join us for a pot of tea and a tasty treat!

Frequently Asked Questions

Are younger girls welcome?

It's your decision - but one you should think about before buying tickets for under18s. During the high tea we will be raising awareness about Domestic Family Violence with an interview from someone who has experienced DFV. The aim of the interview is to help us learn how to be a supportive friend if someone shares a similar situation. With this in mind, we will trust you to consider the appropriateness of inviting younger women - we suggest 16yrs and up.

-I have special dietary needs, will there be options for me?

So long as you let us know when you book, yes! We'll do our best to cater to all needs as much as possible. There is a gluten free ticket option above to make things simple for you. In addition, if you have specific needs, or want to make super sure we're aware, email EmJ Anderson at emj@northridge.org.au and let her know personally

-What can I bring into the event?

Just yourself... and a friend!

The High Tea is catered by the amazing team at High Tea Delights, so all food and drink options are all sorted for you.

However, if you'd like to volunteer to help in some capacity, contact EmJ Anderson (emj@northridge.org.au)

How many tickets can I buy?

As many as you like - we'd love for as many people to join in the fun as possible. Bring a friend, a relative, a neighbour... all welcome!

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

You can reach out to EmJ Anderson if you have any questions - either grab a moment with her in person at church or send an email to emj@northridge.org.au

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you don't have to. We'll have a little desk set up to check that you've registered prior to the event - please check in with our team when you arrive, but you don't need to bring your ticket!

What does the cost of my ticket go to?

We have attempted to minimise the cost of your ticket as much as possible, while still providing a beautiful and significant experience for all. The cost of your ticket includes the set up, decorations, catering, drinks and all the different elements involved in hosting this annual event. We can assure you, every last cent will be put towards creating an event that will bless each person that attends. If you have specific questions about this, please contact EmJ Anderson at emj@northridge.org.au

How are we involved with the Hornsby KuRingGai Women's Shelter?

We have a long-standing partnership with HKWS, having led many fundraisers over the last few years. The Women of northridge have donated money, gifts and love to the HKWS and it is our joy to continue that partnership this year. At High Tea with the King this year, there will be an opportunity to donate to the shelter. In addition, if you'd like to donate electronically, please contact EmJ Anderson at emj@northridge.org.au

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, in most cases that should be fine - we understand that sometimes tickets get swapped between friends if someone cannot make it on the day. Also, many people buy spare tickets in their own name in the hope of bringing a buddy (which is encouraged!).
