Sydney NodeSchool (June 2014)

NodeSchool is a full-day community event that brings people together to learn Node.js in a self-guided interactive format. After 30 events run in 2014 alone, NodeSchool is finally coming to Australia! Come join us in Sydney on the 21st of June 2014 .

The event will be run as follows:

• 9:30am Welcome & setup (breakfast provided)
• 10:30am LearnYouNode, an interactive adventure to learn the basics of Node.js
• 12:30pm Lunch (provided)
• 1:30pm Other interactive workshops (Streams, Buffers, Express.js) and hacking opportunities
• 4:00pm Wrap-up

You'll need to bring your own laptop.

The best part of doing NodeSchool events in person is creating real-world connections. This is why pair-programming is strongly encouraged, and mentors will be available throughout to help you navigate in the Node adventure.

Note: tickets are sold for $5, that goes towards hosting the event (not profit). Please let us know if this is a barrier or a problem for attending.
