NodeSchool is a collection of workshops that help you learn JavaScript by writing code and solving challenges.

It's also world-wide community of meet-ups where mentors and students work through the courses together and share what they've learnt.

At NodesSchool London we'll guide you through the first few steps. Once you're up an running a group of mentors are available to help you figure things out when they don't make sense.

There are workshops available for every skill level -- from JS beginners all the way to experienced node programmers.

Doors are open from 18:30 'till 21:00

Tickets are £5 so we can provide food on the night without having to deal with sponsors & recruiters, and because free events have a really high drop out rate, so we run smaller events for people who really want to be there. More fun all round.

All the money will is put towards food & drink with any excess money going into a pot for stickers & swag.

The event will have about 30 mins of setup time, followed by two hours of learning. During this time you are free to meet other attendees and consume refreshments. The best part of doing nodeschool events in person is creating real-world connections.

If you have finished all of the nodeschool workshops already then you should consider mentoring. Sign up as a mentor to attend and help others get through their first few challenges. You can also attend and hack on new workshops -- the workshop software itself is open source.

NodeSchool strives to be a welcoming and safe event for all attendees. Attendees should follow the conf code of conduct.
