nodeschool.io is a free, community driven, open source educational project that teaches JavaScript and node.js skills in an interactive, self-guided way.

In collaboration with Async we're putting one on in Brighton – come along to learn JavaScript or Node at your own pace, with guidance from our mentors, for free!

Register and attend if you want to meet up at 68 Middle St, Brighton (@68MiddleSt) and dive into a nodeschool workshop. There are workshops available for every skill level -- from JS beginners all the way to experienced node programmers.

You must bring your own laptop.

Additional Information

Async meets twice a month in Brighton to learn, discuss and play with JavaScript and related technologies. We host talks, hack nights, show n’ tells and community events, all of which are free.

This time there will be no Async talk – just Node School!

Node School is a P2P learning event, but is being facilitated by Tom Ashworth (@phuunet), Adam Yeats (@adamyeats). Node School strives to be a welcoming and safe event for all, so attendees should follow the conf code of conduct.

We'd like to thank Clearleft for the donation of the event space, and GitHub for sponsorship!
