Security breaches can impact businesses financially and their reputation, so ensuring we’re following best security practices is essential. The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) guides us by identifying the most common and impactful web vulnerabilities.
In this webinar, we’ll cover common web vulnerabilities and example attack vectors, when and what steps you need to take to protect your application, and when Angular has you covered without any extra effort on your part by turning an insecure Angular app into a more secure one.
Specifically, we'll start with an insecure Angular application, demonstrate and guard against a couple of XSS and injection attacks, add secure authentication using Okta, guard routes and views, add access controls, csrf protection, etc. Attendees should have basic knowledge of Angular, but expertise in security concepts aren't required.
