Direction guide

Exact location: Lecturer Theatre 7 (LT7), Level 1, Sunway University

  1. At Sunway University main entrance lobby, take escalator to Level 1.
  2. You will see the registration counter, show your ticket email for registration.
  3. LT 7 is on the same floor. Just ask if you aren't sure about the direction!

Are you interested in learning how to build web applications with the latest technologies? We have a good news for you: We are holding a one-day Angular workshop for beginners!

Who can join the workshop?

The workshop is for everyone, we want every single person to feel safe and welcome. Be kind to everyone at all times regardless of gender, age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, religion, etc.

We believe a more diverse industry is the key to build better products and services for everyone. People from different backgrounds, ethnicities and genders all have unique perspectives to add to the programming mix and cultural matrix inside tech workplace cultures.

What are the prerequisites & What would I learn?

  • Bring your own laptop if possible (if you are not able to arrange one, email us)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript or any other programming languages (e.g. .NET, Java, PHP)

Tickets

We charge a little show up fees. The workshop fee is RM 5 including lunch. However, you will need to pay RM 30 upfront, with an option to:

  • Donate RM 25 to ngGirls to pay it forward, or

  • Get RM 25 refund in cash on the event day (when you attend)
