In the Buddhist tradition, compassion is both cultivated and a natural instinct. Learning how to emphasize compassion in one’s life and mind not only helps reduce the causes of suffering, but also elevates our state of mind enabling us to engage positively with a world that deeply needs it. This training of the mind dates back to the Buddha and the great masters of India, particularly the teachings of Lord Atisha and his teacher Lama Serlingpa, who emphasize expanding oneself through a sense of universal responsibility to uplift one’s environment.

During this 3-day program, Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche will explore fundamental concepts of compassion practice and lojong, or mind training, and how to apply these timeless teachings in our modern world.

The teachings will take place via Zoom Webinar. You will receive an attendee link via email after registration. Check your time zone

Recordings will be available online for 1 month.
