TestBash Brighton 2019
TestBash Brighton is back for its 8th year. And we're super excited about it!
This year it's a 3-day event with an additional pre-event course.
For the pre-event course, we will be hosting the 3-day ‘Automation in Testing’ course with Richard Bradshaw and Mark Winteringham.
Day 1 is a single-track conference, TestBash Essentials, focused on bringing testing knowledge and experience to those that would benefit from it, but may not necessarily be an expert in it (yet).
Day 2 is a workshop day, with 10 half-day workshops and a 2 talk tracks.
Day 3 is a single-track conference, TestBash, consisting of 9 talks.
On Saturday, we will be hosting a Open Space event.
On all the days, you can expect a wonderful community to come together in a friendly, professional and safe environment. We think you will feel at home when you arrive!

FAQs
When and where is the conference?
The conference is taking place on the 3rd-6th April 2019 at The Clarendon Centre.
Is there a code-of-conduct?
Yes, you can read it here, and it is enforced.
What is Pro Dojo?
The Ministry of Testing has an online learning platform called The Dojo which has free and paid for content. The paid content can be unlocked by buying a Pro membership, but additionally, Pro members get £50 off their TestBash tickets! If you are already Pro, head to the Pro only area of the Club to get your discount code.
Do you offer group discounts?
We offer group discounts for groups of 5 or more. If you would like to enquire about this, please email us at brighton@ministryoftesting.com.
Do you have more information about the childcare??
We will be offering childcare for the first time at TestBash Brighton 2019. We are yet to finalise details, we can tell you: it will be onsite at the conference centre, we will be hiring qualified and police checked professionals, food will be provided and we will work closely with all parents and carers to provide a custom, engaging and comfortable experience for both child and carer. Capacity will likely cap at around 20 children. You are welcome to send your questions to brighton@ministryoftesting.com.

There are many hotels around the venue, the closest is The Jury's Inn by Brighton station.

Do I have to choose my workshops in advance?
Yes, you'll be asked to select your workshops after purchasing your ticket(s). It's important you select them ASAP to avoid missing out on your first choices are places are limited.
Do I have to choose my talks in advance?
For the TestBash days, no, TestBash events are single track, so all the attendees attend all the talks. You will have to choose your talks in advance for the track talks on April 4th.
Is there food?
Yes! Lunch will be provided on all event days. If you have a dietary requirement, please let us know as soon as possible so we can do our best to cater for it.
Can I get a refund?
We can refund tickets up to 45 days prior to a TestBash event occurring. 15% admin fee applies to all refunds.
