What's Happening?
We're having our first-ever holiday party and you're all invited! This brand new event will feature multiple tracks so that you can choose the holiday track that interests you the most. There will be cocktail and mocktail making, baking competitions, hangout spaces, quizzes and challenges, mindfulness activities and much more.
When?
HolidayBash will start at 5:00 pm UK Time on the 4th of December and run until 1 am. Not sure what that looks like in your timezone? Head over to the event page to see if it's a good time for you.
Where?
This will be a fully virtual party so pick a comfy spot for yourself, plan some snacks and dial in. We'll send joining instructions closer to the party day.
How?
Worried about how to choose a track? Don't worry about missing anything, we'll repeat most activities a second time to give people another chance to participate. This event won't be recorded so we'll make sure to give you information about the tracks early to help you make your plans.
Community
We've designed HolidayBash to be as interactive or passive as you want it to be. If forming a team to take on a challenge sounds like your thing, there will be a place for that. Prefer moving from room to room mingling? Not a problem, you can do that too. Of course, if you'd prefer to meditate with others or watch the challenges happen, you can do that too. We're bringing the options and you can customise your experience around them.

To purchase tickets for other people:
- Select and purchase the total number of tickets you want
- Then you will be asked to assign your tickets
- If you know the email address of the tickets you are gifting, click “Somebody Else” and enter the details
- If you do not know the email address, click “I don’t know yet” and “Yes, send me a reminder”
4.1 To return to the assigning screen, use the “View Order” button in your "Order Confirmation" email
FAQs
When and where is the party? The party starts at 5:00 pm UK Time, on the 4th of December 2020 for 8 hours, and will be streamed online so you can attend from the comfort of your home!
Do I need to attend the whole party? No, you can attend as much of the party as you are able and comfortable to.
Can I log in later than the start time? Of course! The welcome will set the scene for the entire event but each activity will have its own introduction too so you'll know what's happening.
Will this be recorded? No, HolidayBash is different from our usual events and so it won't be recorded.
How do I choose the track for me? We'll post the whole schedule on The Club so you can plan the tracks(s) that suit you best. Don't worry about missing anything, we'll repeat most activities a second time to give people another chance to participate.
Do I need to register for the tracks in advance? No. You'll be able to swap between tracks throughout the party. You may need to purchase some extra props and supplies for certain tracks but we'll let you know enough in advance to prepare.
Is there a code-of-conduct? Yes, you can read it here, and it is enforced.
What is MoT Pro? The Ministry of Testing has an online learning platform called The Dojo which has free and paid-for content. The paid content can be unlocked by buying a Pro membership.
Are there any discounts available? Discounts are available for purchases of 20 or more tickets only. Please email us if you'd like to learn more.
How do I get a VAT receipt? Please email accounts@ministryoftesting.com should you require a VAT Invoice.
Can I get a refund? No, once you purchase your ticket, it becomes non-refundable.
How do I access the party? We'll send you details about how to access the party closer to the time so keep an eye on your emails.
