MLH Hackcon VII hosted by GitHub

MLH Hackcon is the official conference for hacker community leaders, hosted by our friends at GitHub. It's an opportunity to unplug, learn, build, share, connect, and celebrate the fact that as organizers and hackers, we are all in this together. With two full days of workshops, talks, and discussion sessions, there’s something for everyone. New organizers can learn best practices for running hackathons, workshops, and other community events. Seasoned organizers will also share their experiences and help guide the next generation. Imagine sitting around a bonfire and roasting marshmallows with hundreds of organizers and hackers from around the world. Now that’s something we want s’more of! Come celebrate the global hacker movement!

“The best part had to be meeting other organizers. It did tons to inspire me about our own event and made me feel more connected to the community at large.”

FAQ

How do I get to MLH Hackcon VI?

Every ticket includes a shuttle service from Manhattan, New York City directly to camp. We will be publishing the shuttle schedule soon - we would recommend waiting to book your flights until the schedule is live so that you can be sure to arrive in time to catch a shuttle!

Why have ticket prices changed from last year?

We've increased ticket prices to be able to provide an even better experience this year (especially in areas like AV, air conditioning, and food). One thing to note is that last year attendees had to pay a processing fee on top of the ticket fee, we have done away with that this year so that 100% of your ticket cost goes back into running the conference. Please note that despite the increase, tickets are still heavily subsidized by our amazing sponsors and by MLH.
