Winners Take All

What will it take to fix the broken economic system that creates so much injustice and inequality in our society? In his book Winners Take All author Anand Giridharadas claims that the time for feel-good words and high-profile acts of benevolence is over. He argues that we must put an end to a system that sees so much power in the hands of a billionaire elite, at the expense of ordinary people.

The team behind Brighton’s annual Meaning conference have invited journalist Aditya Chakrabortty to engage Anand Giridharadas in an evening of debate and analysis. We’re looking forward to informed discussion, refreshing honesty and a bold call for a fairer society.
