Benefit Hike May 27th

Hi there! Join us on a refugee benefit hike, swim and yoga! Refugee benefit hikes began last year as a way to use hiking as a way to build solidarity in the community and raise funds for Madrid for Refugees, an organization providing programs that aid refugees in Madrid. We’re continuing the hikes this year, and the last two have been a great success! We will be 5 guides- Talia, Jaime, and Kenzie. Daisy and Alice, two yoga teachers, will also be joining us! We thought it would be great fun to explore the stunning Pantano de San Juan which is often considered as Madrid´s beach (and its nearby coves). The hike is no longer than 10km, through shaded forest area (to hide from the sun) and will mainly go alongside the reservoir. On the route we will visit several coves followed by a swim in the reservoir and a picnic lunch. There will also be an optional yoga session.
