Ada Lovelace Day 2018

The 2nd Tuesday of each October is a day reserved for the memory of Ada Lovelace, a woman widely considered as the world’s first computer programmer, who saw early opportunities in devices like the ‘Analytical Engine’ as socially collaborative tools.

We're collaboratively building an event filled with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) talks and workshops -- a day to engage, celebrate, and encourage women and non-binary folks of all ages.

Today, we have an opportunity to not only foster and support women and non-binary colleagues in STEM, but to ally a network of new leaders of the future inside our community. Together resolving to create transpersonally beneficial alternatives.
