What to expect
Local Welcome brings people together through food.
You’ll cook and share a meal from start to finish - from chopping vegetables to washing up. Everyone brings their own stories and experiences. Some people have lived locally all their lives, and some are new to the area.
It's a simple way to meet new people, share food, connect with your community, and learn healthy, easy recipes.
You might start cooking with strangers, but you’ll end up eating with friends.
Will this be your first meal? Find out about what to expect here.
Practical information
All our recipes are vegetarian, and we can cater for a range of dietary needs. Our allergy charts clearly show the ingredients in each recipe. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please get in touch.
You don’t need to bring anything. Just book your place and we’ll see you there.
If you're bringing someone under 18, you don’t need to buy them a separate ticket - just bring them along. Anyone aged 18 or over needs a ticket.
All our venues are accessible for people with disabilities and limited mobility.
