Lab Lunch 10/27 — Chris Courtney from Bloc and The Society For News Design
This week we're excited to be hosting Chris Courtney. Chris is a designer's designer. He currently dons many hats: director of the design program at Bloc, a mentorship-based online coding bootcamp; training director for The Society for News Design; and public speaker on media training, which has taken him from Chennai, India to Dougguan, China. He is also formerly of the Tribune family having served in a variety of design capacities over fourteen years as mobile product manager, designer and developer for news apps and sports designer. An alum of the University of Arkansas, Chris is also a marathon runner and creator of heycancerfuckyou.tumblr.com.

Lab lunches happen almost every Thursday from 11:30 am to 1 pm. All members of the Northwestern community are invited, but we strongly encourage you to RSVP so we know how much food to order. It's OK to leave early or come late, although food is limited.
