Newcastle Annual Lord Mayor's Prayer Breakfast 2025
The Newcastle Lord Mayor's Prayer Breakfast has been hosted annually since 2009. The purpose of the breakfast is to acknowledge God, the power of unity and prayer and to invite the blessing of God over Newcastle and its people.
The commitment of so many to gather reflects the willing ability of civic, church, business and community leadership to journey together in a God honouring way! During this journey through the generosity of sponsors and those that have gathered more than $169,000 has been given to charities that represent a small portion of the vast and impressive charitable work that is done throughout our region.
2025 BREAKFAST DETAILS

- TIME: 6:45am – 8:45am
- LOCATION: Newcastle City Hall, 290 King St, Newcastle
EARLY BIRD TICKETS: $40pp (Closes 16 May) FULL PRICE TICKETS: $50pp (Closes 2 June) Tickets include Continental Breakfast (fruit, pastries, fruit toast, mini waffles, petit bagels with spreads, granola & yoghurt, freshly brewed coffee and specialty teas).
Note: To accommodate guests at the Newcastle Town Hall rather than a sit-down breakfast the morning will be a buffet style breakfast. The formal part of the program will be seated in the Concert Hall in theatre style rather than tables.

Each year a charity is chosen by the Lord Mayor to be recognised for the work they do. Over a decade more than $169,000 has been donated to local charities. It is the support of the event sponsors that has helped to achieve these great outcomes.
