Lake Macquarie Mayor's Prayer Evening 2026

The Lake Macquarie Mayor's Prayer Evening is an annual gathering hosted in partnership with Lake Macquarie Mayor, Cr Adam Shultz, bringing together leaders from churches, charities, schools, business, community organisations and local government to pray for our city and its people.

Established in 2019 by former Mayor Kay Fraser and a group of Lake Macquarie Christian ministers, the evening has become a meaningful opportunity to build relationships, celebrate the partnerships that strengthen our community, and seek God's blessing over Lake Macquarie.

Reflecting this year's theme, Standing Together, the evening provides a relaxed and welcoming environment where people from across our city can connect, encourage one another, and unite in prayer. Proceeds from the event are donated to a local charity or not-for-profit organisation serving the Lake Macquarie community.

The 2026 Mayor's Prayer Evening will be held in the South East View room at Belmont 16s, located on the first floor and featuring an undercover outdoor terrace overlooking beautiful Lake Macquarie.
