Ceol, Craic & Caint at the Keep Left Launch
Come together to celebrate the inspiring victory of the Connolly for President campaign and to launch Keep Left, with music, entertainment and a panel discussion with representatives from across the left.
As well as the ceol and craic, we will have a panel with representatives from all the parties and the independents who backed Catherine's historic campaign. The discussion will be chaired by Paul Gavan, a life-long trade union activist, former senator who now works as Campaigns Officer for the Irish Congress of Trade Unions. A strong advocate of left unity, and taking part in a personal capacity, Paul will host what is set to be an inspiring discussion of how the Connolly movement united the left, and how we can keep up the momentum for change.

Who are Keep Left?
We are a grassroots group of campaigners born out of the Connolly Campaign. Made up of independents, left wing party members, and community organisers, we are united in our belief in a 32-county Republic which puts people first, with fairness, equality and social justice for everyone who calls Ireland home, with no exceptions.
We believe that we, the people of Ireland, must seize on the opportunity we now have. The Connolly campaign must be the first step to removing Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael from government. Through networks of solidarity, united campaigning, good faith in each other and strong coordination, we can and must build a united left political movement. Our moment is now to build an unbeatable force of people-power, culture and political change.
The success of the Connolly campaign showed that when the left stands together, we can win. By focusing on what unites us, we can show that the left is ready with workable solutions to the problems we face. By coming together - we can build the new republic Catherine spoke so strongly about.
