English Standup Comedy Class in Mexico City

English Standup Comedy class led by Keenan Steiner, here in Mexico City.

Discover your unique voice, create your 5-7 minute set, learn stage techniques, improve your writing, and perform in a very fun class show hosted by Keenan at the end of the six sessions.

The class will meet six times in a small group workshop format and will require full class participation. From the very first class, we will listen to your jokes and set. From there, we work on improving your set by focusing in two principal areas:

• 1. What makes YOU uniquely funny
• 2. How to turn this FUNNY into jokes.

What is the goal? At the end of this class , to have a 5-7 minute set to perform full of consistent laughs (many laughs per minute).

This class will also help impart the following:

• Crowd Work Style & Techniques
• Improve Your Writing Work Ethic
• Writing Tips
• More, depending on what the class wants to learn.

The Class includes:

• Intro to Famous Standup Comedian Styles
• 2 Sessions in an Simulated Show environment in a Terrace Space with a microphone, mic stand etc.
• 1 Show

Workshops will meet Monday Evening at 7 pm.

Must be fluent in English to take this class. Your English does not have to be perfect, however you should be able to speak and understand English well.
