What is Lean Product Management?
Lean product management evolves classic product management with principles taken from lean startup, agile development, design thinking, growth hacking, behavioral economics, and more. We will teach you how to combine these practices to build a robust view of the business problems you are trying to solve and to focus on the most promising solutions using rigorous validation methods to test, learn and bet on the ideas most likely to be winners.
Here’s what you will learn:
Using an engaging combination of lecture, hands-on exercises, videos, real-world case studies, and facilitated discussion, you will learn how to:
- Think more strategically and create breakthrough product strategies
- Identify markets and learn how to size them to ensure they are worth pursuing
- Understand what product market fit actually is and what makes a product fit a market
- Write good, actionable objectives and key results (OKRs) and how to use them for goal setting
- Get rid of traditional feature-based roadmaps and create agile product plans that are responsive to emerging business needs
