Manchester ISoc's Annual Charity Dinner 2024

The University of Manchester Islamic Society brings you - our Annual Charity Dinner! Join us for an evening of amazing food, spectacular entertainment and a chance to raise money to feed the fasting in Syria, Pakistan, Yemen, Palestine and Afghanistan with Action for Humanity.

Follow us on Instagram @manchesterisoc for announcements of speakers and auction items! Transport tickets provide access to coaches leaving from Mcdougall Prayer Hall to the venue and back to Mcdougall Prayer Hall once the event is over. If you are making your own way there and back, please purchase a normal ticket.

Please note, we are unable to offer refunds after 1st March.

ISoc Charity Dinner Bursary Eligibility Criteria

Please read the following carefully. If you believe you are or may be eligible for a bursary, please email treasurer@manchesterisoc.com with your information, including supporting evidence. Once you have submitted a bursary request, please submit your evidence within 2 weeks as your ticket can only be reserved for a maximum of 14 days.

Bursaries are in the form of a reduced-price ticket

You may be eligible for a bursary if:
* You receive a university grant or bursary based on family or household income * You are in or you recently left local authority care * You or your parents get Income Support or Universal Credit because you are financially supporting yourself * You or your parents get Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) or Universal Credit 


Evidence:

You will need to provide evidence that proves you are eligible for a bursary. This could include:
* A letter from your local authority confirming you are or have been in care * A letter from your university stating you are currently on a bursary * A letter from the Department of Work and Pensions confirming your family’s benefits or they are receiving income support * A P60 * A Tax Credit Award Notice * Evidence of your family’s annual income if they are self-employed
