The Irish Powerlifting Federation is proud to host the first international stop in the Silent Worker (SW) Series! The event will take place on the 4th & 5th of April 2026 in the Marina Market, Cork.

There are two Divisions: Open and Primetime Invitational.

OPEN DIVISION

  • Saturday AM Session, Sunday AM and Sunday PM Sessions
  • Standard IrishPF Open Process in place (see below)
  • All lifters will receive a SWMEET tee as part of their entry fees.

PRIMETIME INVITATIONAL

  • Invite Only (based on prior application process - which has now elapsed.)
  • Invites decided with Silent Worker and IrishPF
  • Must be a member of an IPF affiliate
  • Must have hit the required GLP in the qualifying period
  • Required GLP - female lifters 84 GLP, Male lifters 90 GLP
  • Qualifying Period - must have competed in a National level or above meet in their respective IPF affiliate from November 2023 to December 2025.

Entry Requirements Open Division

  • Open entry competition available to all IrishPF members
  • 2026 membership of the IrishPF must be purchased to be eligible to buy a ticket. Membership can be found here.

Key Information

  • Full IPF Anti-Doping procedures will be in place (fees covered with entry)
  • This event will be a qualifier for Masters Nationals 2026, All Irelands 2026 and IrishPF Open Nationals 2026 for all eligible lifters
  • All personal equipment must meet IPF specifications, but does not need to be on the IPF approved list. See here for more details
  • Please familiarise yourself with the IPF Technical Rules and Anti Doping Guidelines. [Please note - the Technical Rulebook is going through some edits and a new version may be in place when the competition takes place]
  • Venue: Marina Market, Centre Park Rd, Cork, T12 YX76
  • Date: 4/5th April 2026
  • You must complete the Entry Form after completing your purchase to secure your ticket.
  • Final deadline for completing entry forms will be February 27th at 23:00 Irish time
  • Flight splits (i.e. “what flight am I in?”) will be confirmed by Wednesday 4th March.
  • Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE, once registered to a lifter on the entry form will be valid for that lifter, and that lifter only. If you require changes to weight classes, you must email your request to competitions@irishpowerliftingfederation.com
