Cooler Clinics July: Pitching to Festivals, with New Music Dublin & Bray Jazz

Date: Friday 2nd August Time: Discussion at 1pm. Limited 1:1 consultation slots with New Music Dublin and Bray Jazz available Location: Online via Zoom

Each month, Improvised Music Company hosts Cooler Clinic CPD events at The Cooler at The Complex or Online.

In August, we’re hosting an online discussion about pitching with New Music Dublin and Bray Jazz Festival, giving you the inside scoop on their programming processes, how and when they accept pitches and submissions, and much more.

Following on from our hugely successful 1:1 pitching sessions between artists and international programmers in January, we now have 1:1 pitching and feedback slots available with Bray Jazz Festival and New Music Dublin. These sessions will take place after the lunchtime group discussion. Participants will be selected based on suitability via a brief EOI form due by 10am on Weds 24th July.

Pitching sessions will be subject to demand. Selected artists will be offered pitching advice in advance of August 2nd. We recommend researching the festivals and their programming to see who your music might appeal to most.

Attendance is free, but registration is necessary for the group discussion. EOI is essential here for 1:1 pitching and feedback sessions with Bray Jazz Festival and New Music Dublin.
